JOHNSON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating alleged counterfeiting and asked the public for help to identify suspects, according to Lenexa Police. On Thursday police reported "Thanks to you, these individuals have been identified, allowing the investigation to move forward."
The two individuals shown on security cameras are suspected of passing counterfeit bills at area retailers. Police believed the suspects were driving a black SUV. Police released no additional details including information on an arrest.
