GRAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident during a pursuit by law enforcement just before 9p.m. Sunday in Gray County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 Nissan Murano driven by 18-year-0ld Tanner Godwin was fleeing from law enforcement from Meade County on Kansas 23.
The driver tried to turn off onto KK Road. The vehicle turned wide and traveled off the road into a ditch and came to rest in a dry containment pond.
EMS transported Godwin to the Meade District Hospital. The KHP released no additional details including where Godwin is from.
