SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a gun fight that sent three to area hospital.
Just after 11:30p.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the 2000 block of SW Tara Avenue in Topeka, according to Police Sergeant Chris Janes.
First responders found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. American Medical Response transported both to an area hospital. Both are listed in critical condition.
Just after 2a.m. Friday, another man arrived by personal vehicle to Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence. He was suffering from gunshot wounds. It is believed all 3 men were injured during the same incident.
Police released no additional details early Friday.
