Sheriff: Kansas man dead after SUV, pickup crash

SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal crash that occurred just after 7a.m. Monday in Sedgwick County.

According to Sheriff's Lt. Benjamin Blick, a 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by a 57-year-old man was westbound on 55th Street West at Kansas Highway 15.

A southbound 2013 Subaru SUV driven by a 30-year-old man struck the pickup First responders pronounced the driver of the Chevy dead at the scene.

EMS transported the driver of the Subaru to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries
