DICKINSON COUNTY —Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire at a pharmacy in Abilene.
According to a social media report from Paterson Health Care Pharmacy, 105 NW 3rd Street in Abilene, the fire occurred Sunday night. There were no injuries but significant damage due to the fire and smoke. The pharmacy is working with officials to determine the next steps to be taken.
Pharmacy operations are currently suspended and the business has no way to access patient info that is backed up on the software server. This means the pharmacy cannot perform any transfers as well.

The pharmacy encouraged customers to call their doctor and have a prescription sent to another pharmacy.
