SALINE COUNTY —Out of an abundance of caution, the Salina Animal Shelter was closed to the public for much of Tuesday, according to a social media report from the shelter. The staff is busy working complete additional cleaning and sanitizing protocol after three stray puppies come into care of the shelter on Tuesday that tested positive for Parvovirus (Parvo) upon intake.
Staff remain on-site caring for the animals.
