KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just before 11:30p.m. Friday in Kansas City.
A Ford Fusion was eastbound from 71 Highway on Gregory Boulevard, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina. The car traveled straight into a large tree located at Gregory and South Agnes Avenue,
The sole occupant was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased a few minutes later, according to Becchina. Police did not release the name of the victim.
