KCPD: Homicide victim found by security guard was 62-year-old man

KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement investigating another homicide in Kansas City, Missouri have identified the victim as 62-year-old Terry L. Jerry, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.

Just before 7a.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Broadway on a medical call with EMS.

Caller was security in the area and they saw a person, latr identified a Jerry, unresponsive in a parking lot behind the address. On arrival officers were led to a parking lot to the west of the address where they located the victim unresponsive on the sidewalk with what appeared to be significant unknown injuries.

Officers called for EMS who declared the Jerry deceased at the scene.

Homicide detectives are investigating, along with crime scene investigators, and representatives from the medical examiners office. Police have not reported suspect details or an arrest.
