The Kansas Highway Patrol had the privilege of sending 25 troopers to be part of the 60th Inaugural Ceremonies in Washington D.C., along with local, state, and federal agencies to provide security.  On Friday, the patrol shared a photo of the Troopers who went to Washington.

Prior to the events in Washington, the troopers were briefed and sworn in by the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and the U.S. Marshal Service.

The 2025 Kansas Highway Patrol Presidential Inauguration Detail endured cold and blustery conditions to provide security.

"We appreciate your dedication to #servicecourtesyprotection during this detail." the patrol wrote on their social media page.
