LEAVENWORTH COUNTY —A Kansas woman died in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Tuesday in Leavenworth County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Jeep Liberty driven by Chelsie Faith Randel, 19, Topeka was westbound on Interstate 70 in Leavenworth County.
The Jeep traveled onto the outside shoulder, collided with the outside guardrail, traveled across all westbound lanes, collided with the inside barrier wall, rolled and the driver was ejected.
Randel was pronounced dead at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP. The accident remains under investigation.
