CHEYENNE COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 5 p.m. Thursday in Cheyenne County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1998 Jeep Cherokee driven by Benjamin Baker, 27, Loveland, CO., was northbound on Kansas 27 just north of County Road 12.
The Jeep left the road and the driver steered the vehicle back on to the roadway. It then left the roadway to the left again and when the driver attempted steer back onto the road, the Jeep rolled.
EMS transported Baker to the Cheyenne County Hospital and he was later flown to Swedish Medical Center in Denver, Colorado to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP>
