
KANSAS CITY —One person was rescued from house fire in Kansas City, Missouri on Sunday.
Just before 8a.m., Kansas City Fire Department companies were dispatched to a reported house fire in the 2700 block of East 27th Street in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Battalion Chief Riley Nolan.
The first arriving company reported heavy fire showing from the second floor of a 2-story house and initiated an offensive fire attack. Two neighboring houses and a detached garage were also exposed to the fire.

Multiple hose lines were utilized extinguish the fires and to protect that structure. One person was rescued from the roof of the structure and evaluated by EMS but not transported to the hospital.
The fire was brought under control at 8:46 a.m. Searches throughout both structures came back all clear.
Dangerous Buildings and City Planning were requested to the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation by KCFD. No injuries were reported from this incident, according to Nolan.
