HARPER COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged theft of flags from a cemetery in south central Kansas.
On Monday, the city of Harper reported flags and poles missing from the the city cemetery, according to the city social media page.
Law Enforcement asked visitors to post pictures taken of the City of Harper’s Avenue of Flags this year, along with the date and approximate time they were taken, to perhaps get an idea of when the items went missing.
The city posted a few that were taken Monday morning to give the public idea of what they wanted to see. "Also, if you observed someone or something that didn’t seem quite right at the cemetery, please contact the Harper Police Department," the city wrote on social media.
