Police: SW Kansas man accused of selling cocaine

FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an investigation in southwest Kansas.

On July 9, the Finney County Sheriff’s Office / Garden City Police Department Joint Drug Task Force served a search warrant of an apartment located in the 1800 block of W. Kansas Ave in Garden City, KS. This search warrant stemmed from an investigation into the activities of one of the residents identified as 62-year-old Pedro Rodriguez.

The search of the residence resulted in the location and seizure of approximately 262.61 grams of suspected cocaine located in multiple bags, numerous items known to be associated with the distribution of illegal substances, and a significant amount of cash.

Rodriguez was arrested and is being held in the Finney County Jail on requested charges of Distribution of Opiates; 100 grams < Kilogram, Aggravated Child Endangerment, No Drug Tax Stamp and Violate offender registration act.
