SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting and looking for suspects.
Just after 9:30 p.m. Monday, police responded to a shooting call in the 400 block of North Emporia in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson.
Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting in the 500 block of East Central. However, no victims or suspects were located after searching the area.
Later, a 32-year-old male arrived at an area hospital who had been shot. He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation revealed that the victim got into a disturbance with a known suspect when the suspect fired multiple shots from a handgun, striking the victim.
Detectives are working to locate other individuals involved in this case.
