2 Kan. men dead, woman injured after head-on crash

LABETTE COUNTY—Two Kansas men died in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Wednesday in Labette County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford F150 driven by Jason Clay Hopkins, 43, Parsons, was northbound on U.S. 59.

The pickup traveled left of center and struck a southbound 2010 Ford Escape driven by Rowe, Robert L. Rowe, 67, Oswego, head-on. 

Hopkins and Rowe were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to Frontier Forensics.

EMS transported a passenger in the F150 Jennifer L. Faller, 41, Parsons, to Labette Health.  Hopkins was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
