KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another fatal hit-and-and run incident in Kansas City.
Just after 9p.m. Wednesday, a bicyclist was eastbound on Independence Avenue and as he entered the intersection at Hardesty Avenue in Kansas City Missouri. He changed lanes and entered the westbound lane, according to KCPD Officer Alayna Gonzalez. A westbound pickup truck on Independence struck the bicyclist head-on.
The pickup driver fled the scene in an unknown direction. EMS arrived and pronounced the bicyclist deceased. Police have not released the name of the bicyclist.
