SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal. pedestrian accident.
Just after 6:30p.m. Sunday, police were dispatched to an accident where a vehicle struck a man at the intersection of SW 19th St. and SW Gage Blvd in Topeka, according to Lt. Ron Ekis.
An ambulance transported he pedestrian to a local hospital. He later died of his injuries.
The Topeka Police Department Accident Reconstruction Team responded to scene and investigated this incident.
Police have not released the victim's name or additional details.
