Sheriff: Kansas man caught with stolen property, drugs

MONTGOMRY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after an investigation.

On Feb. 26, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of burglaries in the Dearing and Coffeyville rural areas, according to Sheriff Ron Wade.

Patrol deputies led thorough investigations and conducted numerous follow-up investigations on the reported burglaries which resulted in a search warrant being executed at a residence located at 812 W. Minnesota in Coffeyville.

During the search of the residence, several items were recovered that were reported stolen from different jurisdictions including illegal narcotics were also recovered and seized from the residence.

Subsequently, Jerrod Lee Allison of Coffeyville, Kansas was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Possession of stimulants, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and possession of stolen property.
