
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating an injury crash that critically injured two.
Just before 2:30a.m. Sunday, a white, four-door sedan was westbound on Ward Parkway from the Plaza in Kansas City at a high rate of speed, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
The driver failed to negotiate the curve transitioning to the southbound lanes. The vehicle vaulted over the guardrail and came to rest upside down in Brush Creek.
EMS transported both occupants to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police released no additional details.
