Police ID driver in case of alleged animal cruelty in Manhattan

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged animal cruelty in Manhattan and after asking the public for help with information reported they have identified the driver, according to a social media report from the Riley County Police Department.

Police released no additional details early Wedesday.

RILEY COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged animal cruelty in Manhattan. On social media late Monday, the Riley County Police Department asked the public for help identifying a Jeep and the driver.

Police want to speak with the driver about a cat in bad shape that was abandoned in a mesh carrier in the parking lot at Hy-Vee, 601 North Third Sunday afternoon.
