KANSAS CITY —A man wounded in a shooting last month in Kansas City has died.
Just after 7 pm June 30, police were dispatched to a shooting at 59th and Wabash in Kansas City, according to Police Captain Corey Carlisle.
First responders found 25-year-old Donnell Epperson on the sidewalk in front of a residence.
EMS arrived on scene and transported him to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Several days later Epperson died of his injuries
Police have no one is custody at this time. The circumstances surrounding the homicide are still being investigated.
