BOONE COUNTY —Authorities in Missouri canceled an Amber Alert Thursday afternoon after two missing children were located and safe.
Just after 4p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol issued the Alert for a blue 2005 Lincoln Aviator with Missouri license plate GL7B2S. The vehicle was believed to be driving westbound on Interstate 70.
The suspect identified as 24-year-old Joy Ariel Smith was taken into custody at 4:42 p.m., according to the Patrol. Authorities
