OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 6a.m. March 30, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop at milepost 143 on U.S. 75 Highway for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.
The driver of the vehicle, Brittany N. Harbert, 33, Topeka, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Distribution of methamphetamine, Trafficking contraband into a correctional facility and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
