SUMNER COUNTY —Ten days after a fatal pedestrian accident, law enforcement authorities released the identity of the victim as Joseph R. Felton, 72, of Wichita, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Just after 10:30p.m. July 3, a 2020 Volvo semi driven by Rosca Corneliu, 38, Glendale, AZ., was northbound on the Kansas Turnpike in southern Sumner County, according to the KHP.
The semi struck Felton who was in the right lane. He was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Cornejo Funeral Home and Crematory. Corneliu was not injured.

SUMNER COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident in Sumner County.
Just after 10:30 p.m. Saturday, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian who was in the right hand lane of the Kansas Turnpike in southern Sumner County.
Authorities released no additional details early Sunday.
