DOUGLAS COUNTY —Law enforcement found an abandoned SUV parked on railroad tracks in the 1500 block between N1550 and N1500 roads just east of Lawrence on Sunday morning, according to the Douglas County Sheriff.
On social media, the sheriff's office reminded the public, "you can't park there." Deputies called a tow service who used a pickup to remove the SUV.
Deputies later located the suspected driver in Lawrence, who is under investigation for DUI.
