Sheriff: Kansas man was transporting ecstasy, other drugs

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Just after 4p.m. Saturday, a sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle near 142nd and U. S. Highway 75 for a traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

Deputies arrested the driver, Bo Martin Selley, 29, of Topeka, for allegedly being in the possession of illegal contraband.

Selley was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges that include possession of ecstasy, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal use of a weapon, driving while suspended, no registration and transporting an open container.
