RILEY COUNTY—Authorities in Riley County urged drivers near Keats, an unincorporated community&nbsp; Wildcat Township northwest of Manhattan to watch out for the herd of elk, according to a social media report from the Riley County Police Department.

The RCPD responded to a truck that struck two elk. The driver was not injured but the elk did not survive and the truck sustained some heavy damage.
