PRATT COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man for alleged child sex crimes.

Following an investigation into allegations that a child had been sexually assaulted,&nbsp; police arrested 62-year-old Larry  Bereis, according to a media release from police.

Bereis is currently being held on a $500,000 bond on requested charges of sexual assault of a child &lt; 14 years of age.
