KDHE: Two new virus cases in Ellis Co. since Monday

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported two new cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County since Monday.

As of Wednesday, the University of Kansas Health System reported one COVID-19 inpatient at HaysMed in the active phase.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,737 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 71 coronavirus-related deaths — the last of which was reported on March 10.

NOTE: KDHE revised the death total Friday and again Monday, lowering the figure by two.
