WICHITA, KS — Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Wichita.
Just before 4 a.m. Saturday, police responded to an EMS call at a residence in the 14000 block of E. Twinlake Drive in Wichita, according to Officer Juan Reboledo.
First responders located a victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, a 24-year-old man was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred during a gathering at the residence, where a disturbance broke out between the suspect and the victim, which ultimately led to the shooting. The individuals involved are known to each other, and this is not believed to be a random act of violence. Police have not released the name of the victim or possible suspect details.
