MCPHERSON COUNTY—A Kansas woman man died in an accident just after 4p.m. Saturday in McPherson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Chevy Suburban driven by Jimmie W. Hall III, 36, Wichita, was southbound on the inside lane of Interstate 135 just south of Arrowhead Road.
The driver lost control. The SUV traveled off the roadway to the west into the ditch, spun and overturned.
A passenger Mary E. Hall, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene. EMS transported a 10-year-old girl from McPherson to a Wichita hospital. The driver was not injured and not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
