Mike Brown, chairman of the Republican Party of Kansas, announced all the state's 39 votes for Donald Trump as former Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer stood nearby. Brown announced Kansas as the breadbasket of the world, the air capitol and home of Bob Dole and Dwight Eisenhower.

Donald Trump has been the presumptive nominee for months. But it was the vote of RNC delegates in Milwaukee that made it official Monday afternoon.

Trump hit the necessary threshold with votes from his home state of Florida.
