JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement investigating a fatal Kansas crash have identified the victim as 77-year-old Judith E. Smith of Gardner, Kansas, according to Olathe Police Sergeant John Moncayo.
The crash occurred just before 7p.m. August 24 involving a minivan and a semi-truck occurred in area of East Old 56 Highway and South Lone Elm Road in Olathe.
Smith was the driver and sole occupant of the minivan. She was found unresponsive. Life-saving measures were performed while on scene, but she was later declared deceased., according to Moncayo. The 42-year-old male driver of the semi-truck remained on scene.
