
HAMILTON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug and DUI allegations after a crash in Hamilton County, Kansas.
Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Sheriff's deputies were on a traffic stop on South Kansas 27 with a reported stolen vehicle out of Oklahoma, according to Sheriff Mike Wilson
A southbound vehicle struck the patrol car. Fortunately, there were no injuries and the Deputy was out of the patrol unit at the time of crash, according to Wilson.
Deputies arrested the driver who hit the patrol car on requested charges of DUI, possession of a controlled substance and transporting an open container.
