
SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man after he allegedly threatened two victims with a gun.
Just before 10p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a disturbance with a gun call at the apartments in the 1000 block of North Ridge Road in Wichita, according to Officer Charley Davidson.
Upon arrival, officers contacted a 30-year-old woman and 50-year-old woman. They reported getting into a verbal disturbance with 32-year-old Mitchell Jensen of Wichita as they entered the apartments parking lot. Jensen then followed them and pointed a handgun at the 30-year-old. No one was injured in the incident.
Officers located Jensen at an apartment in the complex, and he was arrested without incident on requested charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm while under the influence. Officers also recovered a handgun during the investigation, according to Davidson.
