SEDGWICK COUNTY —A Kansas home daycare provider accused of child abuse is scheduled to return to court Wednesday.

Ija Hall, 29, of Wichita, will face a jury trial in Judge Quentin Pittman's courtroom, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.

Pittman, the owner of His Loving Hands Home Childcare, 357 N. Erie in Wichita, was charged with two counts of abuse of a child, according to the  District Attorney's office.

In September of 2024, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment suspended Hall's  license after an incident involving a child she was fostering. A protective order was issued during her first court appearance, according to the district attorney's office. She is not to have contact with the victim in the case or any child under the age of 12.

Hall is not in custody after meeting the requirement of a $25,000 bond.
