ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas man following hit and run accident.
Just after 6:30p.m. Friday, a vehicle driven by 22-year-old Ethan D. Hale of Atchison, struck a vehicle at U.S.73 and RavenHill Road and left the scene, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
A police officer later located Hale in the 400 block South 10th. The Kansas Highway Patrol took him into custody. He remains jailed without bond on requested charges that include aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage to property, DUI and reckless driving, according to online jail records.
