Kan. teen hospitalized after crash fleeing from deputies

SEWARD COUNTY—A Kansas teen was injured in an accident just after 2a.m. Sunday during a pursuit with the the Seward County Sheriff's office.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Toyota Solara driven by Luis A. Molina, 17, Garden City, was fleeing from a traffic stop with deputies in the  600 Block of S Seward Avenue in Southeast Liberal, Kansas.

The Toyota struck a legally parked and unoccupied 2009 GMC Canyon. Debris from both vehicle struck a parked and unoccupied 2011 Chevy Tahoe.

EMS transported Molina to Southwest Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.  Two other juveniles were also in the Toyota.
