RICE COUNTY— The Sterling Police Department is asking for the public’s help after vandalism was reported at Sterling Lake over the weekend.
According to a statement from the department, two unknown individuals entered the restrooms at Sterling Lake during the overnight hours of May 9 into May 10 and caused damage inside the facilities.
Anyone who can identify the individuals involved or who may have information related to the incident is asked to contact Sgt. Tommer with the Sterling Police Department at (620) 278-2100. Tips can also be provided through Sterling City Hall at (620) 278-3411.
The investigation remains ongoing.
