KANSAS CITY —One person died in an accident just after 8a.m. Saturday in Kansas City.
A Ford Escape was northbound on Hillcrest Road and Fairlane Drive, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
The SUV struck a large trash dumpster that was in the roadway. Both the driver and passenger were transported to an area hospital.The passenger was pronounced dead of her injuries on Saturday evening, according to DeMartino.
