KDHE: 27 new cases of COVID-19 in Ellis Co. since Monday

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday announced that 27 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in Ellis County since Monday.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,267 cases of coronavirus identified in Ellis County.

As of Wednesday, there were 22 COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, up from 19 on Tuesday, with 19 of those active patients and three in the recovery phase.

Also on Wednesday, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced a new COVID-19 cluster at Stockton Correctional Facility, which has had 66 cases reported within the last 14 days.
