MCDONALD COUNTY, Mo. —Three people including two Kansans died in an accident just after 10p.m. Sunday in McDonald County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Nissan Rogue driven by a 63-year-old Bella Vista, Arkansas woman was southbound in the northbound lane of Interstate 49 in Pineville. The Nissan collided head-on with a 2021 Honda Civic driven by a 23-year-old Kansas City, Kansas woman.
Both drivers and a passenger in the Honda identified as a 43-year-old Kansas City, Kansas man were pronounced dead at the scene.
All three were properly restrained, according to the MSHP. The Patrol no longer releases the identity of accident victims.
