GRANT COUNTY, Nebraska —Law enforcement are investigating a Kansas man on drug allegations after a traffic stop.
Just after 5:30 p.m. October 24, while working traffic North of Hyannis on Hwy 61, a Grant County Deputy stopped a Kansas registered vehicle traveling south bound doing 75 mph in a 60 mph zone, according to a media release.
An investigation revealed a 38- year old man from Wichita was in possession of suspected large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana, cash and paraphernalia.
With the assistance of Nebraska State Patrol and Box Butte County Sheriff's Office, the man was arrested for multiple drug charges and transported to the Box Butte County Jail without incident.
