WILSON COUNTY —One person died in an accident just before 2:30a.m. Friday in Wilson County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Mazda 3 driven by Andrew Daniel Brown, 18, Fredonia, was southbound on New Albany Road one half mile south of New Albany.The driver failed to negotiate a curve. The car traveled off the road to the south, stuck the ditch, went airborne hitting a tree and rolled onto its top.A passenger in the car identified as Jaryn Levi Yarnell, 19, Erie, was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. EMS transported Brown and a second passenger David Joseph Powell, 18, Douglas, to Wesley Medical Center. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
