KANSAS CITY — The Kansas City Police Department is investigating the death of a 45-year-old Kansas City man who was reported missing last week.
The body of Brice Gabbert was located Sunday near Gladstone Boulevard and N. Brighton, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
On Saturday, police reported Gabbert was last seen on at 2p.m. on July 12, in the area of Independence Avenue and Prospect Avenue when he left work on foot. He used public transit to get around, and family thought he may also be in the Martin City region of Kansas City, Missouri.
Detectives advise that preliminarily there does not appear to be any signs of foul play.The medical examiner will make the final determination of the cause and manner of death.
