Kansas woman killed in motorcycle accident

GEARY COUNTY—A Kansas woman died in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Sunday in Geary County.

The Kansas. Highway Patrol reported a 2002 Harley Davidson driven by Jeremy W. Williams, 49, Weatherford, Oklahoma, was westbound on Old Highway 40 approaching Kansas Falls Road. The driver failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of the motorcycle.  Williams and a passenger identified as Amanda W. Conrad, 38, Junction City, were ejected from the vehicle.  

Conrad was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Johnson & Mass-Hinitt. EMS transported Williams to Stormont Vail Health - Flint Hills Campus.   Williams and Conrad were not wearing helmets at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
