Kan. host of leadership podcast charged with child sex crimes

SEDGWICK COUNTY—A Kansas man known for his podcasts on leadership who was arrested for alleged child sex crimes made his first court appearance on Friday

Richard Rierson, 53, Andale, is charged with 14 counts of sexual exploitation of a child, according to the Sedgwick County District attorney's office.

Following an investigation by the Wichita Exploited and Missing Children's unit, officers arrested Rierson during a traffic stop on May 27, according to the Sedgwick Booking records.

According to Apple Podcasts, Rierson has recorded 535 episodes of the Doses of Leadership podcast. He was no longer in custody on Saturday after meeting the terms of the $150,000 bond, according to jail records.
