
KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just after 2:30a.m. Friday, patrol officers were dispatched to 11th and Wyandotte on the report of a dead body, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.

Security guards were conducting patrol rounds when they located an adult male victim in a nearby parking garage. Officers were directed to the upper floor of the parking garage and located the victim suffering from obvious bodily trauma.
KCFD EMS responded and medics pronounced the victim deceased on scene. This is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators are working to determine what led up to the incident and what caused the victim’s fatal injuries. Detectives are canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance footage. Crime scene personnel will be processing the scene for all available physical evidence. Police released no additional details early Friday.
