
JACKSON COUNTY–Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just after 1a.m. June 30, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Highlander on U.S. Highway 75, near 118th Road for an alleged traffic infraction, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.
The traffic stop led to a search of the vehicle. The front seat passenger, Janette Pendleton, 54, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
